Roquefort sauce

This sauce is an absolute hit in my blog I must say. It’s one of the top visited pages of all time. To be true I didn’t see that coming. Roquefort is a very unusual cheese with a very interesting flavor.


Not everybody likes it but I can eat it just with a spoon. I like it in salads, in sandwiches and I love it grilled. Roquefort sauce is one of my favorites and you can always find it in my fridge.

This sauce, dip or whatever you want to call it, goes well with your chips and is a perfect match with meat and hamburgers. So I am reintroducing this loved recipe to you!

Roquefort Sauce

Total Time: 15 minutes

Amazing sauce that goes excellent with bread-sticks pasta and chips.


  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 180gr Roquefort
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  • In saucepan crumble Roquefort and add heavy cream.
  • Keep stirring in medium heat until Roquefort completely melts. Season to taste.
  • Withdraw from heat.
  • Add butter and parmesan. Mix very well. Place in a bowl and let the sauce cool down.
  • Serve.
